As artists we need to get very comfortable with putting ourselves out there and either hearing nothing back or it being a “no thank you, not this time”. All the open calls, exhibitions, grants and residencies that we apply for, is proof that we’re taking steps to be seen, and gaining confidence in sharing our work with the world.
